Looks like New Wind Turbine subsidy to end year early ???
ROC's not FiT's
I think it is FITs on all wind turbines:

If anyone is thinking of putting a turbine up before then please be aware that C&F Green Energy have stopped servicing work they have already been paid for:

The NFU link says possibly FiT's so it all looks a bit unclear.
What I have been told is that it is relevant to larger turbines .
I must admit that when I first read the announcement I assumed it was FiT's as well but was told otherwise later.. All will become clear I guess in time.
One thing the announcement did refer too was the scheme ending one year early and that must be ROCs as the FiT I believe was due to run until 2021 (?) I think.
The conservatives aren't keen on wind turbines, that's for sure. Of course they can close any scheme (ROCs/FITs) early if they wish, so you have to weigh up is it worth taking a punt and getting grid connection and planning approval with the chance that it could all be money down the drain if the tariffs are gone. That's your gamble.
It's always been 5% for Domestic and 20% for Commercial (e.g. farming).
surely there will be a grace period, ive one nearly passed planning, waiting on bat survey
I had a look back at the ministers statements and she says the recent announcement referred to ROCs but they are starting a review of FiTs.
It's pretty clear what they want to do and there is this talk of exceptions for " community" schemes. The devil is in the detail there.
So no change in FiTs yet but even for ROCs there is a grace period for those with existing planning and pre accreditation seemingly.
That's how I read it anyway
