    Lucas starters are rubbish. There either cheap copies or poor quality Indian built. Indian company bought lucas electrical years ago!

    Common clutch to forwards 1 and 3 is forward low pack.

    The solenoid that operates this pack is at the top of box nearest front and cab side.

    Actually i think i would be calling the manitou importer for Denmark and complaining! Can have transmission out on the floor in 4 or 5 hrs! So 10hrs looking at it is a joke.

    10hours and a main dealer doesnt know whats wrong with it:eek: shouldnt take more than an 1 hour to figure out if its electric or internal and test relevent clutch pack pressure.

    You could also look at manitou msi25 or msi30 or jcb teletruck. There all hydrostatic as well.

    Rev coumter works off alternator. Prone to eating alternator belts.

    Could be alternator fault.
    Next to radiator are some maga fuses for alternator and ignition/glow plugs, the alternator one...

    take left hand dash panel off and have a look, could be iffy sensor in cap. if its low and its not the master cylinder then chances are its the brake piston seals in one...

    The oil I recommend is genuine Manitou oil "special wet brake lubricant" there are other oil brands that claim to do the job but they don't always work!

    May have been limited slip diff in front axle or brakes? An oil change using genuine Manitou axle oil will normally cure that. Oil in hubs isn't to critical normal EP80-90 is fine from any brand.
