    Re: Stock, fencing and neighbours

I assume there is more than the value/use of straw in that story Jack.

    Re: Stock, fencing and neighbours

Well I guess the op was responsible but p!ss poor neighbours. Tempting to erect a 2m solid fence or at least plant a hedge that will save them looking across your land.

    Re: Stock, fencing and neighbours

Does the old damaged fence belong to the farm? Are there other properties adjacent? If the fence belongs to the farm the contractor should not have touched the hedge if it was growing on the fence...

Re: Vicon mower conditioner tight bed

My little taarup can feel tight after stood. Ideally see it on a tractor running. Let it over run a bit then rev again to listen for dodgy noise. Then let it spin to a stop. It should not stop...

    Re: French drought

Jack we visited the Cantal in mid August. The volcanic mountains were short of rain then but nothing like the corridor of land from the Massif Central north to Paris. The latter hardly had a green...

I am afraid that although a user I am no expert. I do wonder if you have one of the electrical components faulty. Have you been able to carry out the more complicated calibration with the switch...

Re: how to operate a square baler

Start with a handbook if you can find one for a NH or very similar model. I note the PTO shaft and fly wheel are not guarded properly so for christ's sake be careful. The baler is one very dangerous...
  13. Re: Sanderson teleporter2 6.22 what type oil?

I think ACE recommends LS EP 80w90 gear oil in the wet type hubs and the front axle may have limited slip diff. Our old 725 creeps on the tilt, I think it will be seals int tilt and or compensator...
  14. Re: Lawrence Edwards Supa Pac 7000E Bale Wrapper

The manual model has a couple of hooks underneath to stop the bed rotating when tipping off. Is there something similar? They would not be used to actually stop the bed.
  15. Re: Concave calamity and gone with the wind...........

The loader driver took the bull by the horns. Potentially could have been horrendous. All too easy to think of the fire lads back at the station sitting around or kipping.

    Re: Manitou mlt 526

Ace (member on here) with luck will be be along to advise. In the mean time it sounds a bit like a problem I had with the wrong oil and the limited slip diff on a 725 MLT. I had front brake squark...

    Re: JCB 3CX 1986 Overheating

Yes plus 1 to Zazza, I got caught out years ago with a 3 C thinking the rad was clean. Personally I would put a new thermostat in as well as apparently the absence of one can upset things. On the not...

Re: Ford New Holland 8340 SLE help thread

There is a floating plug adjacent to the fuse and relay box. I have not done it myself, but you need an on/off switch to access the codes. You do need to proceed with care armed with the codes. I...
