    Re: Calf Daily Intake

    Corn or concentrates, I would say approx. 100kg to 12 wks but this will...

    Blue Texels

    Hi,

    No criticism in this post, but was wondering is there really any difference between a Blue texel and a (normal) texel, or is the blue colour just a genetic throw-back?

    Re: Starting suckler herd

    I would suggest going for cattle that will see your calves make big money is not always the way to go.

    There are a multitude of factors to take into account, but just a few are;

    Re: Demo time

    Had the case on demo last year with 10m cutter bar, thought it to be a bit plastic and we couldn`t get a long with it, it was on tracks and one hell of a rough ride compared to our claas. Had a green...
  12. Re: Sugar Beet 2016....to grow or not to grow, that is the question!

    Where I am we grow around 400 acres a year usually but next year we are only growing 50 due to the price,

    20 per tonne is a joke, farmers round here are packing in altogether as they recon they...

    Condition score your ewes. When are you going to tup them?
    Try something commercial if you don't need to keep replacements.
