    We used a trailed 6 wheel Vicon for many years making 2nd cut hay which had been cut with a 4' cut inline Kidd RotaFlail using a 2 way chute and wilting tray. (1st cuts were all made into silage.)

    Not the best way of ballasting a loader thractor IMHO. Better to hang ballast out behind the rear axle and reduce the front axle loading ;)

    I'd say wheelweights which stick out beyond the tyres would be most effective - the further out the more effective they will be. Stetting the opposite wheels out as well would make the weight even...
