Thanks foxbox. I looked at westfield and they look a good auger, just wasnt sure if they make one small enough for us. We need a single phase motor, and have the motor off the existing auger, but...

    Cheers.

Why not go narrower with better tyres for more grip? Thats what all the gamekeepers round here do and they can go some places even tractor struggles.

  12. Re: On the discmower - MF 3650 (old) vs Valtra 8050-4 vs cranking pump on my MF5455 v

As far as i no 3650s were bomproof. Backend will be alot stronger than 5455. But then 8050s have a good reputation to. I would personally prefer one of them two over a 5455 any day. But thats just me!

    Re: Vicon EXTRA 632T opinion/problems

My experience with them is they make a great job, but arent very well made. Seem to rattle bolts loose all the time. And foragers dont like bits of mower!

Re: How do you grow spring beans?

Have grown them for good few years now and always put muck on first. Get better crops from it than beans with no muck on. They dont need any nitrogen fertiliser tho.

I see. Will have a close inspection. Shouldnt need to do much chopping so power will hopefully be ok. I know the 410s were noted for being underpowered.

Cheers michael. Should be a nice machine aslong as it works. It is tempting to go for a mega though. Will have to have a look at it. The older ones didnt have a different computer then?
