    Re: Access?

If your solicitor came up with this pile of tripe I'd consider getting a new one!

I hate fecking solicitors. They'll work for anyone and repeat any old rubbish they're told as long as the money is...

Re: The 'Stratified System' - yay or nay?

Or maybe that there are fewer sales across fewer centres?

    Re: frome market mistake

I think a bettter lesson would be that if a market fails to make good any losses that you suffer due to their inability to follow written instructions it's time to start selling somewhere else!

    Re: Interesting watch

Maybe you should keep your eyes open at home as well as when you're living it up and jetting around the world ;)

Many UK pastures have sufficient high value species to improve very considerably...

As a champion of the mule I'm sure that you're aware that it's not unheard of for Kerry blood to find it's way into the Welsh Mule

Re: Wandering bull - irresponsible owner

I'm aware of the "T" but you have to go back to early 1911 deeds to find those on our farm. The farm has changed hands twice since then. They're weren't on our IACS maps and I can't see how they...

Re: Wandering bull - irresponsible owner

You're a lucky man if ownership of all your boundaries are defined, you're even luckier if your deeds agree with your neighbours deeds ;)

Come to think of it are they defined at all on land...

Re: Wandering bull - irresponsible owner

An oft quoted but very unhelpful view on things IMO.

A far better approach has to be a 50:50 split on the maitenance of boundary fencing.

Re: Wandering bull - irresponsible owner

I assume your share of the boundary fences are all in good order?
  11. Re: Guess the killing out weights? Ram lambs off grass

I suspect that this would run into opposition from some auctioneers.

Some years back when I was trying to make a fair return by selling live I suggested to a number of auctioneers that I was...
  12. Re: Welsh countryside access free-for-all threat.

I'm rather tickled that the CA appear to think that anglers are any different to Ramblers et al ;)

Re: Why does everyone use 8/80/15 stock fence?

8-80-20 or 8-80-30 is the way to go unlees you want to spend forever freeing stuck heads and moaing about lost tags.

    Re: bloody horse paddocks

If you are having to ask for reasons to object then it looks like sour grapes! You got the rest of the land, how would you feel if someone who felt that you paiod too much started stirring trouble...
  16. Re: An idea for something for the small hay men to make over winter?

    Run this past me again!

You're suggesting that I scrap a perfectly good bale sledge that automatically makes great flat 8's behind the baler, then spend my winter evenings building a device that...
