Think you will get 3.5p now if you renewed with them!!!

If you applied for pre accreditation before 1st October you will be subject to a 20% Cut from present rate, after that date you will be subject to a 30% cut unless of course you got your turbine...

Crack on mate!! and remember preliminary accreditation is not full accreditation. you should have had one up by now anyway 30% Tarriff cut , and an old 130Kw wind turbine recipe for disaster

    Re: Power Purchase Contract Renewal

When I checked the Market and renewed in July Opus Energy were offering the best deal.

It probably has changed since then as the Market seems to be firming

    Re: Argosy 50Kw

I really think that storage would be limited to gusts over seconds rather than several hours or even days of energy which you are looking for.

If you could invent something you could be very rich

    Re: Argosy 50Kw

I very much doubt you could put a 50KW Generator into a 250KW size( i.e 25-30 metre diameter rotor) wind turbine, it would blow up!!!.

Are hydraulic accumulators capable of storing electrical...

    Re: Argosy 50Kw

I think you really need to study the half hourly data a 250Kw produces over a day using your sample windspeeds, you will then find that it will probably be impossible to store that much surplus...

    Re: Argosy 50Kw

I don't really get your thoughts on needing a 250KW rated turbine and derating to 50KW, I really doubt the economics of it would stack up.

The windflow turbines are class 1 machines and will...

Sorry, I assumed your "Look Ahead" Forecasts were weather forecasts and you posted the link to them on this Forum that reason.
  19. Re: Weather: Sunday's Look Ahead - Cool & Unsettled

Your forecasts are becoming very vague and short of detail, even though it takes around 8 minutes to deliver it. Would it not be better to focus on the uk, differentiating England North and South,...
