    Re: European cooperation.

    Hear hear.

The Common Market was a good thing. A federal state was not on the ballot paper when the CM was voted for in the 70's.

    Re: Quad bike

A large amount of quads have been stolen in our area in the last month or so. Police recovered two a few nights ago so with a bit of luck it might lead them to more but somehow I doubt it.

Re: David brown 1290 clutch pressure?

I used to have a 1390 and a 1490 and the clutches were different on both of them. 1390 soft and 1490 a bit firmer.

David Brown has a really good facebook page where there are some excellent...

Do you know roughly what areas you plan to stop at night? I guess we're a long way off your route or you'd have been welcome.

My son went up to the show with my brothers for the first time. He said it was ok but wouldn't bother to go again. I suppose we are spoilt with the Royal Welsh being on our doorstep very nearly. He...

Our JD mechanic turned a 6610 up for us and he told me it was approx. 10% per one full turn.

No help to you, sorry but my son repairs quads and turns these lesser known makes away. Difficult or impossible to get the correct parts. Sounds like you've spent a lot on it already though. Hope you...

Re: Oil seal on a teagle topper.

Yup, tapered splines on our Comer gearboxes. I put new seals in last year and the puller was needed but they came off with not too much effort. Watch out, the knife holders are heavy if you're...

    Re: Poultry farm diversification

There are some companies around who will pay you to rear for them. They'll advise, put in the day olds and provide feed etc. and pay you about 1.50 per bird reared (turkeys). Might be an option.

No harm in asking a shed builder for a quote to relocate the barn. It's not rocket science to take one apart and put it back. We've bought a couple of 2nd hand buildings over the years and it's been...

Same here. We get some with thick bags which need breaking and the vet diagnosed selenium deficiency was the probable cause. We are on red sandstone which is known to be selenium deficient.

Marine grade chain like used for the floor chains on rear discharge spreaders would do the job.

I bet there'd be massive interest in that tug if she was able to be brought up. It would be some sort of challenge to get her going again.
