    My money is on your new hoses at fault they don't make them how they use too there to flexible. When sucking hard they suck in. 5-6m you start getting problems.

    Mine has a sight gauge that blocks up not bubble gauge like yours. Nothing silly like the pipe collapsing together under the slurry so you can't see it. Have you tried another pipe?
