    Your best bet is to ask a friendly electrician to add up the power requirement for you. As a guide- I run boat, grader, elevators and box filler on 32Kva generator.

    As above; mice, birds squirrels etc love it, if you have to repair your roof it's a pain, it's frightening how flamable it is if you manage to set light to it.

    Since November, the level of imports has stopped the price of home grown potatoes rising. I didn't expect anything else to happen, but a boy can dream can't he?

    I'm not convinced that there is a shortage of UK potatoes and onions, there has been little movement in the price since November. I understand what you're saying about tractors but I don't grow them...

    That doesn't seem right.

    In the classified section of the British Farming Forum is an advert for Dutch potatoes and onions, that doesn't seem right. Would people be happy if BFF carried adverts for New Zealand lamb or french...
