    Crimp the barley you'll get it off 3 weeks early then plenty of time for rape or turnips, couldn't really entertain sheep without forage crops

    Combining is no probs , open it out and let the chaff go through as well , you can almost cut in the rain , straw will need a few days to dry but is better for feeding

    Trade is not moving at the moment , sellers don't know what to ask and buyers are slow , Chelford last this week 60 to 90 , sellers ex farm are wanting 80 ish for good hay but not finding buyers...
