    I am not sure how they do it over there but on this side of the pond when we had the "purple" tinted gas it was just a dye the delivery driver would pour into your tank before he would pump the fuel...

    On this side of the pond they did away with coloured fuel decades ago - too much was being used for non-approved purposes (i.e. purple gas in snowmobiles, . . )
