    Grass Weeds

In a DD rotation with a fair bit of Spring cropping, would grass weeds come to be a problem ? And if I did run into problems, how effective would a 2 year grazed grass break be at dealing with it ?
    TIA

    Re: Grass Weeds

I would think 2 year grass would be quite effective, thinking along the same lines myself, don't have the same rotations options up here.
    All the best.

Do any of you Southern DD chaps with rotational grass have a blackgrass problem?

The only potential problem at the moment is poorer chemistry for grassweeds in the spring or at least because we've lost some useful ones.

An increasing number of mixed farms around here are using more 2 year grass in there rotation to help blackgrass control.
I'm finding rotation direct drilling is helping a lot with blackgrass.
ww ww winterbeans ww ww osr
Beans and OSR are direct drilled.
