    Would this be direct drilling in your opinion?

    It's quite a lot of disturbance, but it is a one pass operation with at least a fair percentage of residue on top.

    Just trying to get some sort of handle at what point things are no longer direct drilling.

    Its not what I would describe as DD.I would describe it as mintill.

    This is direct drilling IMO , i think most would agree that this is at the far end of the scale, but if you look simply at the job it is doing. Tilling the soil, placing the seed, covering the seed and then pressing soil. It is all happening in one machine and in one pass.
