The late Jim harrisson had a clear span shed which sat on top of RSJ on top of the walls which could be wound back to tip the lorries.

I haven't got a picture to hand, but some friends have built a straights shed on their dairy farm which has a very sharply pitched monopitch roof with galebreaker roller screens on the front to avoid the need for a retractable roof.

with your average farm telehandler and a decent bucket how long would it take to shift 29t from a bunker outside to inside? just wondering if it is overcomplicating things or even how much do they charge for specifying a walking floor?

Fair point but as the video is only 3.27 minutes I think the roof would win the race

I could see it even being good for large farm trailers that have out grown some otherwise good sheds also tipping lime in there would be another use.............I spoil my lime contractor he gets mine tipped in side on concrete, says he'd rather cart it a bit further than dump it on a field also I hate those lime "hot" spots.

    Just wonder what it costs
