EB colour code v pig feeders

Anyone seen then, got them or got any opinions on them?
Went to see the colour code yesterday. It's a good system but 700 more expensive than pig feeders. The farmer has both as they had a few units and says these are miles ahead. BUT they do the same job just in a different way really.
Doesn't seem much money but spending has to stop somewhere.

sorry to hijack your thread but in addition to your question..how durable are pig feeders?
There seems to be an awful lot of levers, pulleys and wire to operate the feeders
