    Remote monitoring of solar systems

Are there any options available for remotely monitoring solar systems (30kw) beyond going and looking at the inverters or meters or whatever? I'm guessing someone must supply something that will allow the production to be imported into a spreadsheet or similar?

Re: Remote monitoring of solar systems

mine is SMA inverter with bluetooth, I have a cheap android samsung with felix solar app the phone connect to the inverter by bluetooth, then relays to web site when in range of wifi in farmhouse. it can update the web using phone data but I turned that off as Im new fangled and check it too often.
It updates to this free website, you can find other local schemes and compare against them http://www.pvoutput.org/list.jsp?userid=20567

the app cost 6 it work well but can crash occasionally if the bluetooth is at full range, requiring a turn off/on of the phone. their are some free apps available but I couldnt get these to work

not a perfect solution but cheap and better than remembering the daily meter reading.
