A surprise in the slurry pit

It may be 20C, and almost 2nd week of May but while digging out semi-solids from the ramp I found frozen slurry and snow today.

snow is very cold stuff indeed, and once its happt over takes a very long time to thaw, this is a very good example for people who want to plough fields that are covered with snow, and shows how cold it keeps the ground for a long time
