    Repairer for Lexion Circuit Board

Looks like the circuit board on our 480 has developed a near fatal fault, says "Canbus at fault or module not connected" at best it can be repaired, at worst replaced for >£2,000 part No.013 702.0 or maybe now 013 703.1. Does anyone know a reliable repairer?

Check if your insurance covers it. Ours needed replaced last year.

Yes, I thought they might have been able to although it does seem that their ability is restricted by the lack of technical co-operation from either Claas or Müller-Elektronik who make the boards.

Well take it to the dealer you do most of your business with and as them for a quote? They are very reasonable. Nothing ventured nothing gained? Can only be cheaper than £2k of Claas

I would be expecting a contribution towards the cost from Claas. To expect a customer to foot the bill for a part that should really have a 25 year life is unreasonable IMO. Unless the board has somehow been damaged by the customer. Worth a try.

Depends on the age of the machine? If its just out of warranty maybe? But if its years out, no in my opinion!

When in a similar situation with a Lexion circuit board most avenues where explored.
a friend was a electronics wizz who took it to work then to a couple or other places

no one could repair it, it was something to do with the way it is put together.
had to buy a new one
    Is that the sun
