Thread: Barford dyker.

    Barford dyker.

    Anyone remember these? my dad used it many times to clean our dykes.

    Yes, and I think a company called Leefab <sp> made one as well. One of them (I think it was the Barford) was called a ditcher/dyker. They actually did quite a decent job in the right hands. Wouldn't dig a new ditch but would clean out an existing one. Not good on the neck or the clutch though.

    Yes, that's the one. Thanks TM. I got confused with Leeford for some reason. Actually the mechanism was quite ingenious and it was much better than a 1RB (a shovel for those who don't know )
