    1985 Ford 7910 bit's required! :)

    Hello all, my first post on here!

    just purchased a ford 7910 that wants a bit of tidying etc, will get a few pictures up possibly a,bit of a project thread!

    i am after a side panel, as your sat in the cab the right hand one, does anyone know someone that can help me??

    go and see david bland at bowland tractors, not far from you , they pull a lot apart for export. those panels are also the same as all the 77's etc, the only difference in the bonnet is the fibreglass extension near the cab. get a turbo kit made up for it and you will be good for 150hp! used to work for a contractor with 7 82's all turboed and 40 K , unbeatable in there day. you got any more pics ? love them old girls.

    got a slight issue with the 4x4 at the min, it seems to be in permanently! Trying to sort that.

    Will get pics when I can.

    try the fuse. if the electric fails, the 4wd is in all the time

    if it has blown the fuse , the solenoid control valve could be faulty, its under a cover on the side of the drop box, if its faulty, get a new one from QTP , dont get a genuine ford one as they will take your pants down for it
