    Bay gelding stolen, Shebbear.

Bay gelding stolen over the weekend from Shebbear, Devon.
wondering if anyone who has a Facebook page would go to Help find Arrius & share it, the more people around the country that see it the more likely he is to be found. Although not really agriculture he is someone's much loved horse & they are devastated.

He is freeze marked K9C5, bay gelding, white flash on face, also microchipped, as I said full details are on Facebook Help find Arrius. Photos there as well, can't figure out how to copy them to here.

    The following may be helpful

If a horse/pony is stolen or goes missing on loan
    Involve Police--get a Crime Number
    Local radio
Local papers-they often are on line these days
Neighbourhood Watch--lots of pairs of eyes and someone may have seen something
If you do not have Horsewatch in your area the Police will not know next steps
Horsewatch --have you got a branch in your County--contact them
    see www.tracingequines.co.uk/forum/
Get a message up on there
You need to fill in a form to get into National Horsewatch system
    through Farmkey info@farmkey.co.uk
Full accurate description and pictures for entry onto www.stolenhorseregister.com
A message then circulates to all Horsewatch groups in UK who then spread the word to their members who post info on all Forums they frequent
Inform your Passport Agency (put a stop on passport)and NED

Great news he has been found, obviously he had got to hot to handle & had been turned into a field, badly dehydrated but will soon be home to a very relieved young lady.

    Great news!

So the freeze mark did its job.

    How far had he travelled?
