    That's definitely too shiny 4wd. Are you thinking of changing?

    I had a test drive, the new ones are very different - more power but far more stable on the road. It even has traction control.

    I would hope that it had stability control and trailer sway control as well.

    One thing it certainly hasn't got is a transfer box that can change from low to high on the go. That is a major step backwards compared to my Trooper which has a lever actuated synchromesh change. There is little reason why they could not engineer this because both my old Mercedes ML and the Range Rover had electronic shift transfer boxes but both could change smoothly and at speed from low to high range.

    What were they thinking of when they designed this one?

    A few of my friends have bought them in the last year and are all really pleased with them but i've never driven one myself
