Wouldn't it be easier to mount it on the harrows as it would save a lot of hassel, wouldn't obstruct your view and you wouldn't drive over the pellets. Do you need the weight block on the front or could you take it off and fabricate a braket to go over/around the weight hanger on the front?

I Just made a plate with a hole in it to attach to the tractor on the front towing pin.

If your spreading grass seed it does not spread much wider than the tractor.

How do you control the slide (open ans close) on it at front of tractor? Is there a solenoid or something else to remotely control it?

Do you think it is because you are throwing it in to a headwind with it being on the front?

    Hi

Its got a control box in the cab.

The reason I think it does not spread very far is the weight of the grass seed.

I was spreading a wild flower mix & the seed is very light.

Slug pellets are heavy & go to 12 meters.
