    Photography editing software?

Right, got a few nice pictures I want to enhance, like get the colour contrast better, try and sharpen them up a bit and trim them so my fingers and daughters head aren't in the picture. What's the most appropriate editing software to use? Preferably free and hopefully idiot proof as I don't want to spend hours with complex software just to tidy them up a bit!

I have full Photoshop but that does all the basic things really well - impressed.
Rotation to correct wonky verticals or horizon is always a good tool and that allows you to swivel it around freehand to exactly where you want.

I've got Photoshop too but have found Pixlr to be pretty handy when I'm away from my own computer, glad you like it too
