    Time lapses from dairy farm

I'm gonna shoot some time lapses of making silage etc.

    So far I've shot material only of spreading slurry, here's a view from the pit;

edit. the tank is 17 cubic meters, seems hopeless when the surface of the pit doesn't seem to low at all.. in reality it should be appr 3 cm etc per tank

Are you using a gopro or similar?
I've been surprised by how good the stills from them are.
I bought an inexpensive clockwork rotating mount for it to play with later!
It takes about an hour to go around.

It's like this but not from China

    Similiar, this one is Samsung.

Yes,they're surprisingly good at picture quality. HD video looks also great and the sounds are impressive - I used this as an audio recorder in an interview, like a mic, and you can hear everything very well and in good quality.

The rotating mount would be great to insert in center of a field and then start mowing it... doesnt even seem too expensive!

Mowing of the first silage making this year

Got the new 7615 to real work. It's really hard to start using the Dyna4 when I'm used to old sticks with the old tractor with which I mowed for like 8-9 years.

It's still great machine to drive with, the mechanical cab.suspension is great. I feel pity for the conditioner, thought, sometimes I might drive too fast when the driver becames blind for bad surface shaping; you get to sit in suspended cabin with good bench and everything's smooth and all..

Really? With local standards, that's pretty hard field! Althought it did have day before mowing a good shower..

A quick time lapse of mowing a field

Had no better place for the cam except for top of a slurry wagon

Everything that moves slowly or in big area, looks great in time-lapse.

    Here's one from the pit

    Thanks. Second one coming soon.

I uploaded nice cloud-time-lapse. They're pretty basic, but they just look damn cool.

This was what the weather was like when we started making 1. cut

Another one, longer and more interesting this time. Had to change a filter to the loader but pause wasn't too long.

More material for you who consider getting robot milking, here's a 2-3 hours ultra speed video from our barn

Our cows milk 3.2 times a day, 36 litres on average. They loove the robots. I wouldn't ever get a manual parlour after ams.
