TIHMB baling hay that should have been cut 2/3 weeks ago and wrapped were it not for equine owners that are convinced that a dust free product is so much inferior to dusty material that needs the guts washed out of it.

I have a wooly hat made entirely of Golden Retriever "wool". It looks rather smart, but it's a bit itchy to wear.

I don't think it was LM this time. It seems that somebody in 2005 had a spree wandering round Europe opening fraudulent companies in France, Spain, Belgium and Luxembourg then burgering off leaving large debts. I have just been served with a judgement against me for 31000 from one such company in Spain. Now I'm going to have to spend a lot of money proving that it is was not me.

Don't worry, I've bricked up that second hand Ferrari with the Spanish plates in our spare garage. Baliffs will never find it. Couldn't fit all the bags of Euros in though so I put them in the missus' bank account.

SO long as it is in safe hands, that's all that matters.

TIHBM turning, raking, turning and carting.

Tomorrow will likely be more of the same except with some added baling, stacking and if I am really lucky some sheep moving.

Did the devon show last year so the chance to get here to the cornwall show while having a family break this year was looking good but that earlier date coincided with the son-in-law being committed to something else.

    Never mind, maybe next year

Watching people baling, stacking and carting frantically before the rain starts.

Looks like the first of the winter barley will be fit next week.

I looked at a couple of fields on the way home, two row stuff and it was dead ripe and about 17%.

anyone know how it's running? Some of the winters will be ready here next week - and the rape won't be far behind. Wheats beginning to go off as well. I reckon a lot of wheat will be down before the end of July this year.

Hope they don't make croissants with the wheat. Too buttery.

I have been looking at maize and wheat today. I have some plain old Karimbo nearly as high as my waist now. Absolutely steaming along and confirms the need for good starter fertiliser.
