    Please clarify - Are you offering to do cheap hedgecutting or are you looking to have some hedges cut on the cheap ?

    What u mean the local lad charging 19/hr for hedge trimming but 30/hr for hauling a silage trailer is not quite got his pricing quite right?

    Yep, lost most of my customers to him which has actually been a blessing in disguise. Given us more time to get winter jobs done and actually have a bit of a break. He keeps bragging how he's taken them all and he's absolutely flat out, he does a really tidy job at a real cheap price he's bound to be flat out!

    You might as well stay in bed and get him to cut your hedges.

    Why do people bother charging low prices??

    I,d cut hedges for 19hr with some one else's kit...

    We cut our own so we can do it when it's dry or frosty!

    He says he's making money at that price and if he didn't the tractor would be parked up still costing the contract hire.......

    Maybe he is if he has hour break in the morning, 2 at lunch and another in the afternoon and charges for them
