    Lightening!

This is interesting, especially with the storms forecast for today - real time lightening map http://www.lightningmaps.org/realtime?lang=en

At the moment there seems to be a line of lightening storms from Bristol to Bournemouth, & also out into the North Sea
There's plenty of action throughout the world too - Louisianna, NW France & Finland appear to be having some storms!

That is a very good site. At time of writing there were a lot of hits in the midlands over Birmingham

    Thanks for the Link Mags.

The met office forecast certainly ties in with it.....

    http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/w...4.00&lat=55.01

Showing heavy thundery rain just across the Channel just touching the far south east of the country...they then predict that these storms will, thankfully, move up the dover straights & out in to the north sea.
But if you run the met office predictions on to 13:00 on Sunday they are forecasting what looks to be a fairly potent thin line of heavy thundery rain from just east of the London up to the Kings Lynn area...and by 16:00 they forecast that this area of thundery rain will get considerably bigger & affect a much wider area ? Lets hope they are wrong & no one suffers any damage to crops etc.
