    Ag building change of use!

How easy is it to get change of use for an agricultural store Building? Would it be easier to build a new high spec ag building to convert and change of use to a light industrial use.

Well it is possible. It will depend on what you are going to use the building for and the spec and location of the existing building.

Building regulations may be the most problematic if you need to get warrant. You may need a class 1 rather than a class 2 ag spec building.

So if I apply for an ag store building and it is granted permission which is not too difficult, then build a building up to industrial standard to then apply for change of use to light industrial building. I think would still be easier than applying for a ind. building for a start. It's within 10M of a trunk road which make it difficult to get planning for industrial but it's ideally located with good access for a potential rent income for industrial use.
