    Google Chrome misspelling words

Anyone know why Google Chrome is misspelling words on my web pages?

For example the word 'Line' frequently shows as 'Lion', run the same web-page in firefox and its ok, not really the end of the world, but just annoying.....anyone know how to correct it?

    - edit - i just looked at this post and its even changed Line to Lion

    Re: Google Chrome misspelling words

No idea, but I had an issue not long ago when typing anything on forums within Chrome, 3 of the letters on my keyboard would not work. Just nothing happened if you hit them. In Email, or Word or anywhere else it worked fine. Just in Chrome. And just the same 3 letters. Turned off computer and back on again and it was fine.

So no help. But seems to be a few glitches in Chrome somewhere.

    OK, thanks.

The other thing I have noticed lately is that Google Chrome takes a while to open some forum pages......for e-bay I have to use firefox

rarely use chrome so from the little I have gleaned in the past, I'd have a look here- click the menu thing in the top RH corner- Settings- Advanced settings (right at the bottom of the list/page) - Languages - then click the language & input settings tab.

See what dictionary you are using and at the bottom is a link to "Custom spelling dictionary" go there and see if any words listed? Also back a bit there was a link to "learn more" next to languages

I don't think I want a company like google (or Microsoft or . . ) tracking everything I do, so I use firefox at home
