I have always wondered what those pimples were on the chickens Mrs BR fetches out of the fridge. And here was me thinking that they were where the feathers attached. Silly me.

On another note, I believe in Japan that you can buy human milk in cartons out of a vending machine .... and a few other things that perhaps we best not go into here.

I'm not sure about milking hens, but I know that in some countries, you can't get milk from a Yak.

    Does anyone know why?

Probably because a Yak is male - a female is a Nak. Tibet smells of butter, Nak butter, and their main staple diet is milk, butter and cheese from a Nak.
I once read that Badger milk was used as invisible ink, but I would not fancy milking a badger!
