    Post Knocker

Thinking about purchase of a budget type fence knocker for our small place. What do folk recommend in terms of minimum spec level and would i run a light weight on a mini digger or is that too much of an ask?

    Thanks Peter

I would go for a PARMITER they are cheap and plenty around , you would have to make a frame for your digger to fit . better try and get a ROPE rather than the chain version

I believe they are about 33% dearer http://www.protechmachinery.co.uk/ht...ducts/P18.html but twice the machine ,less strain on your digger by far.
Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results.

A converted pecker type on a mini digger would probably be cheapest option. Works pretty well and versatile too.

Do you take out the point and add a plate/socket?

Yes. A cup that sits over the top of the post. Hired one once but don't know much else about them except that a local fencing contractor uses 1 all the time.
