    Grace Period

Re recent announcements regarding removal of extensions to existing installations and reductions / abolition of FIT does anyone know how the statutory grace period is to be applied to the medium (100kWh to 500kWh) wind sector.
PS: Any opinion given will be treated as non-binding

    Re: Grace Period

I thought that the grace period (able to register for FITS, fixed at the time of registering, but before you commission the turbine) has now stopped - end of 2015? So now even if you have planning permission and a grid connection offer you cannot tie yourself into Fits at the level it was when you got those things, you can only get the Fit rate which is set at the time of commissioning/first generation. Can't see anyone now risking the planning process, let alone a deposit on a turbine.
