    Trainee Drone Driver

Our drillman recently had a surprise admirer, while "broadcasting" this years "industrial crop" a taxi driver asked if he could practice with his new-ish drone and film him trying to drill straight............!

The white tinges in the field are the remains of the test holes that were dug just before harvest in the standing crop last year for a proposed solar park.

The taxi driver should be commended for asking permission - on this side of the pond there is an increasing number of these "pilots" who seem to think they can go anywhere they want any time they want.

Agree it was a bit of a stretch to investigate underground bunkers and tunnels!
A few times the programme almost seemed to imply it was OK to go over secret bases and other places normally out of bounds - not sure advisable even if not presently illegal.
It would be unwise locally to go over Fylingdales or Menwith Hill I suspect.
