Not my brand, but juddering could be a cavitation problem- is the JD suction filter a screw-on cannister? is it tight? Whether cavitation would affect speed of lift and drop- not sure?

What does it tip a trailer like? steady with none of the judders from the linkage??

Whats the linkage like in dropping with a decent load on? does it judder with plenty of weight on?

Beginning to think that the lift arms, stabilizers, PUH rods or cross shaft is the culprit. Does it have external lift rams? a 70series NH we had used to get stones between the axle housings and the ram casing- as the arms went down closing the rams, they became stiffer because they were trying to crush the stones- remove stones and all ok. - just wondering if its something daft

It happens and is now another valuable book in your library of knowledge gained from experience.
