Repairing & Extending Sheds, & Small Sheds on Skids?

I have a piece of agri land less than 0.4 hectares.

I need to repair a storage shed, and would like to extend if possible. Would either require planning permission?

Apparently I can erect small sheds on skids to use as livestock/poultry houses; can I use one for an incubation/brooding room?

    Thanks in advance!

Yes, you do need planning because you are under the size threshold (total acreage - can't remember what it is but it's at least 10x your plot). Anyway, because your neighbour is likely to dob you in (ref your other thread) I'd recommend going the official route. Should be straight forward enough and you should include a supporting statement with the application ,ie. that the shed will help you store stuff undercover and help the overall neatness of the place. Even a pole barn needs permission but a shed on wheels doesn't.

Does that include repairs as well? If not do materials have to be the same as original?

I assume just extending the roof to make a covered area would also need permission then?
