    sheep buckets

    anyone any opinions on which are the best value energy buckets? thought about molasses but its labour intensive and is it much cheaper if you give them it ad lib?or do i just carry on giving them a few nuts!?

    At a rough guess, the cost of the ingredients in nuts will be about half of that in buckets.

    Ewe nuts/rolls always seem better to me. Though the answer is obvious, put buckets under cover, it isn't always possible and rain causes a fair bit of wastage in buckets (puddle at the top....some sheep drink it, some don't).

    At least with the nuts they are eaten straight away.
