    Heather blindness

    I have some ewes with heather blindness, how long does this normally take to pass and how is it best treated.

    Tube of something like tetra delta (mastitis treatment) squirt some in there eye every day or so .alternatively you can get proper antibiotic eye cream but it's much the same . If there bad and you don't want to be catching them everyday you can get antibiotics like streptopen (you don't want an oily one like synulox) and inject it into the membrane on the eyelids .something you'll need some one to show you how to do it the first time . But it eventually just runs back onto the eye over time doing the same job as the tubes .
    Btw good chance most farmers call it new forest disease
