Has anyone got remote control on a Roller shutter? We're justy finishing off a spray filling shed and would be good if we can open and close the door with out having to get on and off each time. Sounds a bit lazy but looking into feasibility as it would save a bit of hassle.

My mates got one on a shed I built for him he was having an electric roller shutter door anyway and the remote part wasn't alot extra he said.
Brilliant, got one for the main shed door.
No-one is tempted to leave the door half way open and then someone else comes along and drives in catching it with the forklift mast
Saves having to have a seperate " man door " and is excellent for regular security.
Forgotten how much it cost but maybe a couple or three hundred quid
That may a good idea not having a separate man door. I no one farm like that no problem until the electric trip went and they could not get in so they had to take a side sheet of to get in when all the tools were inside. And for safety you should have more than one exit.
nfu would not insure my ex silo workshop till i put a second door in at the other end to ther big door

I wired one of these into our door. Not difficult and cheap!
