    Change of sheep breed

Just wondering what your thoughts were on what breed of sheep or composite ( self replacing) would be suitable to replace our existing Welsh mule flock?
We would continue to lamb inside because of our very high rainfall and being on the flood plain.
It would be beneficial if the lambs weren't too slow maturing,so we could be flexible with our marketing.

Haha yes your probably right there!
We're wondering how the Lleyn would perform compared to the Welsh mule?
would the weaning weights, rearing ability of the lleyn on the same system as the mule allow us to keep more ewes or maybe reduce input costs?

Changed from mules to Lleyn 15+years, not regretted it one bit far less hungry and easier to keep lambing % not quite as good maybe, yearlings seem to be disappointing in that respect but then we do tup our ewe lambs which are home bred.
All we buy in are tups pure Lleyn for replacements and Texel/ Texal x Beltex for the rest.
