Here's something else that I scanned a while back - from British Farmer and Stockbreeder in Nov 1979 - I guess someone knows the man in the article?

    Gents

The March issue of CPM is now online at http://www.cpm-magazine.co.uk/back_issues.php, but the paper version is far better - go to http://www.cpm-magazine.co.uk/subscribe-l-7.html to subscribe. Most arable farmers are eligible for a free subscription.

And, please, the title's Crop Production Magazine, WillScale - that really hurt!

Enjoy & let me know what you think...

I have always liked reading CPM, and long may it continue. I was surprised at the size of the last issue though. It seems to be growing month by month now.

They haven't stopped - they've bought three Claas Jaguar forage harvesters, but haven't worked out how to plant maize yet!

Thanks for the kind words, Badshot, and yours too Willscale. Glad you like the chunkiness - yes you'll find it will grow as we get into the summer & long may that continue as far as I'm concerned - we've got some really fascinating features coming up & it's great to have the page space to explore them.
