Whats the best tup for texle and beltex cross ewe lambs?

I have a bluefaced leicester ram and was going to try him. Has anyone else ever used one on ewes lambs? Was thinking this maybe easy lambing?

Whatever you use it needs to have a narrow front end .
Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results.

If you are not experienced in lambing sheep or sympathetic to their needs, you should not tup ewe lambs. It can lead to enormous welfare issues.

But otherwise, a BFL would be a reasonable choice, and the resulting 'Texel Mule'' ewe lambs would be perfectly suitable to keep for breeding.

They would be equivalent to 'Cheviot Mules' ( BFL x Cheviot) which has become an exceptionally popular a cross much in demand as an alternative to the Mule or Scotch Halfbred..

And if at all possible, use a traditional good-skinned whitish Blueface Leicester tup because the mongrel crossing type of BF Leicester will leave less uniform lambs and you will wonder why some of his lambs look a bit like Beulah Specklefaced crosses.
