    Ford 4000 power steering kit

Anyone any experience of fitting a power steering kit to a Ford 4000 with cab and front loader? Advice needed on suitable one and ease of fitting. Many thanks in anticipation.

Seems quite cheap to me? I wonder if they are reliable.

I've seen those for sale locally, I suspect they are made in India for QTP which I think from memory is a variation of Matt Buckley tractor parts. I'd think it would do the job but getting spares could be tricky if anything went wrong.

I have used Matt Buckley's stuff in the past occasionally and it did the job. He used to sell filters branded with his own name before the QTP days. QTP are quite a big player in the spurious spares in Ireland and beyond. On the website link go to catalogues and then Ford New Holland page 122 and you'll see what looks like the same thing.Worth giving them a ring to see if they still offer support, seals etc.

Unfortunately the units referred to will not fit a tractor with front loader. The search continues.
