Began to wonder if there were any sprayers in WA a couple of weeks ago when driving thru the upper grain belt around northampton- seeing crops nearing harvest made me realise eventually that there we little or no wheel marks/tramlines in them so I assume its a proper low inputs plan unlike here where the agronomist seems to have their work cut out.

I'm not at all familiar with broadacre cropping in Aus., but my guess is that few - if any- farmers bother with tramlines. I'm guessing that the (generally) sandy soils probably don't compact as much as others.
