    best electric sheep fencing, stranded wire or poly wire

    just wondering what peoples thoughts are when fencing sheep, whats the best stuff to use poly wire or stranded wire

    The easiest stuff to work with is poly wire on your rappa fencing system on your quad bike,
    the best stuff to use is the "braided " multi strand wire, used to do a lot of winter tack fencing for a bloke on turnip sand grass, spent hours putting the stuff up,
    wire was pretty much the only thing that will keep some bought in store lambs in the right parish, let alone the right field,strip fences are OK in poly wire, but we used to use 3 strands of wire under the "hedge or boundary
    oh and get best batteries you can afford, and keep em "hot" used to put ours on a plastic milk crate to stop em sitting on cold ground,

    great thank you, seriously thinking of getting one of them RAPPA systems for the quad so might try the poly wire. yeh we always keep the batteries in top spec to keep the buggers in. cheers for the info
