    Sky lanterns.

A lot of Councils have already banned sky lanterns. https://www.countrysideonline.co.uk/...n-celebration/

Please consider signing this petition to get the matter debated in Parliament. https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/200251 It needs 100,000 signatures for that to happen. It doesn't matter if they have been banned in your area, it should still be banned nationally and that won't happen unless it's debated in Parliament.

If you have friends who do not visit countrysideonline then please send them a link to this topic.

    Thank you.

Done. High time it was looked into.

Thanks Gentlemen. I spotted it in my NFU magazine and thought I should investigate. I have always thought that while they provide quite a sight that it is a ridiculous thing to let them just sail away in the wind while alight without any control whatsoever once they've been launched. Absolutely crazy.

I've also posted the link on TFF where there has been a lot of opposition to them in the past.
