    manitou 527

Hi. My manitou has 400/70 x 20 tyres that are coming near end of useful life. i have seen 405/70 x 20 tyres for sale at reasonable price.
Will they fit OK as they are only slightly wider?

Looking at a mitas tyre chart for both sizes it seems that the larger width tyre may have a 40mm longer rolling circumference which may be ok if you were to fit a set, but if your model machine is like our 735-120 without the option of 2wd then I would be weary of only fitting a pair to one axle incase of inter axle windup

Should be fine if doing all 4. I think 405 is a factory fit option anyway.

Change the mud gaurds and you could fit 24" tyres and rims if you want.
