    Manitou warning lamp

    Hi, have got this warning lamp on in my manitou 627t (2005) bought it used,but no operators manual came with it.
    can somebody help me out?
    its top row second from the right( next to handbrake light)

    Its low brake fluid level.

    take left hand dash panel off and have a look, could be iffy sensor in cap. if its low and its not the master cylinder then chances are its the brake piston seals in one of the axles.

    ONLY USE LHM MINERAL brake fluid in it. normally coloured green. Do not put DOT4 brake fluid anywhere near it. (hopefully no one else has in the past!)

    Thanks, did check the level and I thought it was ok.
    will have another look I the morning.

    If its the cap with 2 spade terminals it seems they can suffer from the terminals/spades getting roughed up when trying to remove/refit the cap. Just changed ours as just the weight of the wire moving around was enough to make the lamp come on. New cap, light now out all the time!

    Look up a few posts and in the bottom LH corner of his post you will see a link to his website, use this. (your PM's only become active once you have made enough posts )

    Yes as footfitter said follow link to website for contact details. or post 5 or 6 messages on here somewhere and I think private messages get switched on then?

    if your looking at old posts of mine I don't think the link will show in the signature as I only did it recently plus if your viewing from a mobile app then it my not show anyway but it will if you use a PC etc.
